From June 30 to July 4, our partners from NOVA organized a special summer school programme at the NOVA FCT Campus in Caparica (Portugal). This initiative brought together high school students from 10th, 11th, and 12th grades who are currently pursuing studies in science and technology.

The program was designed to immerse students in the scientific, engineering, and technological fields through interactive activities led by researchers from NOVA. This activity offered a valuable opportunity for students to engage directly with real-world academic and professional practices within these disciplines.

MAR2PROTECT actively participated in several sessions of this initiative. Our partners from NOVA highlighted our research on groundwater management and emphasized the importance of preserving water quality. The activities were designed to go beyond theory, incorporating creative and engaging exercises to make the experience more dynamic and impactful.

Programs like this play a crucial role in bringing science closer to younger generations and inspiring them to become future experts and professionals.
