On September 25th, 2025, MAR2PROTECT participated one more year in Caminho da Inovação 2025, held at Álcantara Water Factory in Lisbon, Portugal. This event brought together innovation, sustainability, and collaboration. Under the theme “Challenging the Obvious in the water sector” this edition invited participants to question what people take for granted and to discover new ways of thinking and transforming the future of water.
MAR2PROTECT was featured in the exhibition area with a dedicated stand, where project coordinator Ana Pereiro and project manager Sdrana Kolakovic from NOVA, engaged with visitors, sharing our project’s vision and the innovative research being conducted to improve groundwater management across Europe.
In addition to the exhibition, the event hosted a diverse programme of national and international speakers, round table discussions, and creative experiences, all fostering dialogue and knowledge exchange within the water sector.
We are pleased to have contributed again in this new edition and be part of a community committed to rethinking water management and advancing sustainable solutions.
